CraftingIn-Ears as Timeless Art
For two years, Thomas existed only as a
rumor in elite music circles: a few composers, singers, and art collectors
heard early samples, whispering about ‘sound that feels like silk on the ears.’
Valor was Thomas’s first officially
launched in-ear monitor, and he also founded the LUXEAR at the same time.
Today, LUXEAR still makes only 5,000 pairs
a year. Every in-ear is touched by 9 artisans over 20 days; every leather
casing is broken in by hand. For LUXEAR, in-ears aren’t tech. They’re
heirlooms: something to pass down, like a vintage watch or a well-loved book,
because great sound, like great art, should stand the test of time.
